FACILITY

2025 Cross Country course designed by James Atkinson

The Cleone Peterson Eccles Equestrian Center, including the renowned ConToy Arena and Skyline Eventing Park, has been awarded

2025 Best of State

Sports & Recreation - Equestrian Facility

The center is widely recognized as the state’s premier cross country and eventing facility. It features four all-weather rings (including a spacious indoor arena), over 200 horse stalls, ten concrete-pad wash stalls, RV hookups, and a challenging cross-country course with natural jumps, water obstacles, sunken roads, and varied terrain for all skill levels.

Through significant support including more than $600,000 in grants and in-kind contributions from the Utah Office of Outdoor Recreation, Utah State Parks, and the Mormon Pioneer National Heritage Area, the center has added a covered warm-up barn, restrooms, showers, and improved amenities for trail riders and eventers.

More than a competition venue, the facility fosters community tourism, attracts riders from across Utah, and builds equestrian culture in the region. With its Best of State medal, the Cleone Peterson Eccles Equestrian Center is officially one of Utah’s standout destinations for sport, heritage, and horse-loving excellence.

Love Skyline?

Help us continue to grow and improve!

Skyline started as a blank piece of land (well, not quite blank, there were plenty of rocks), and a group of dedicated ladies with a vision. As we look to Skyline's second decade, we have even bigger dreams of making our venue a destination event with an emphasis on safety, community, and just having a good time doing what we love.

If you are interested in helping achieve this dream, please reach out at skylineeventing@gmail.com or grab one of our committee members. We are interested in expanding in the following areas:

• Skyline-owned dressage arena

• Upgrade/repairs to existing XC jumps

• New XC tracks

• Modified XC course

• Facility improvements

Cross Country Schooling

Group Schooling

Skyline offers an unparalleled opportunity for eventers to hone their skills by reserving a session to trailer in and school on our expansive cross-country course. Our course features a diverse range of obstacles from Intro to Preliminary levels — including banks, ditches, and two water complexes — all while enjoying our famous Skyline views.
